They knew each other before, but it wasn’t until about a year ago when it all began in a little club in „Berner Oberland“.
One of them, Serge Christen, alias SirJoe – frontman of the Swiss rock band Modern Day Heroes, and known from the Rivella advertisement featuring “I need a Revolution” - was performing his solo project on stage.
The other, William White, one of the most interesting and important Singer/Songwriters in the Swiss music scene, was sitting in the audience fascinated with this voice he was hearing.
"I really like when a musician and his music are one and this is the case with SirJoe. I get the feeling that his songs are straight from the heart.”

On this night they talked until the early morning hours in that bar.
It was the birthing moment of “Make it shine”, their first duet together.

“Make it Shine” is a great song and it was a real challenge slipping into
SirJoe's very original style! It was great fun," says William White.
SirJoe counters: “It was a wonderful enrichment to work with such a gifted musician!”

“......cause always when I worried you told the sun to rise up and to make it shine“ and that song magically does put the sun on your face.
As it did that morning when they left the bar after the concert.
